Milford Welfare offers the following for Milford residents:
- Milford Welfare provides interim emergency assistance for low income residents through a voucher system. Requests may be made through a written application process, including an initial assessment intake: milford.nh.gov/sites/g/files/vyhlif4701/f/uploads/2016_welfare_application.pdf
- Eligibility is based on a financial review of basic needs and available applicant resources.
- Milford Welfare also supports families via referral to other programs including to Food Stamps; Medicaid; and other financial assistance programs;
- Welfare collaborates with SHARE Outreach to bridge families that don’t qualify for welfare but need transitional support.
Milford Welfare is co-located with SHARE Outreach at the SHARE Center located at One Columbus Ave. Milford, NH 03055. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 – 2:30.

Please include eligibility requirements by service, along with any restrictions.
SHARE serves households at or below 200% of the FPL.
All requests for assistance are evaluated, however, so if someone has a need, they should reach out to us.
